RA Ministry for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources developed and submitted a package of proposals to the Armenian Government on supplying thermal energy to the communities not having gas supply. It's particularly about solar photovoltaic panels and water boilers, the application of pellet boilers or heaters. According to RA Deputy Minister for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Hayk Harutyunyan, each community will be submitted a specific proposal based on the carried out examinations and estimates. 'Preference has been given to the use of water boilers, first of all, which is the best and beneficial solution to having hot water in most community without gas supply,' Hayk Harutyunyan said. Providing gas supply will be feasible for individual communities. This problem has also been discussed with the gas supplying company in Armenia. 'Most probably, the package of proposals will be discussed in the government in near future, and after being approved, we will start implementing them, nevertheless, it will require rather long and serious financial means. In any case, the government is seriously willing to gradually solve these problems. In the beginning, preference will be given to near-border communities,' Hayk Harutyunyan mentioned, as the Information and Public Relations Department of RA Ministry for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources informs.
