Alaverdi Community Municipality, Lori Region, Armenia, has posted on Facebook social network, where it warns about the possible release of water from the reservoir of "DzoraHEK" SHPP.
"Dear residents, now is the time for spring floods, which will last until July, inclusive. Depending on the power system malfunctions during the operation of "DzoraHEK" SHPP, a station shutdown is possible, which, in its turn, will lead to the automatic release of water from the station reservoir. This can cause unpredictable flooding.
"In order to avoid accidents in the areas around the Debed River, please be careful and be very vigilant," the statement says.
