Levon Alikhanyan, a Shnogh village resident, Lori Region, is going to call upon to Court of First Instance to appeal the unfair judgment of determining the market price of his land area by 'Teghout' CJSC.

Levon Alikhanyan is one of 6 people,  in favor of whom the ECHR has delivered a judgment and obligated the Armenian Government to pay a compensation of 17,200 Euros within three months.

'The ECHR judgment says that unfair trial has been carried out. This is sufficient once again to call upon to court. At that time, the evidence submitted to the court of the first instance was not sufficient as no expert dared to carry outa double assessment of my land areas,' he mentioned.

Levon Alikhanyan demanded a compensation of pecuniary damage of 371,954 Euros and 9800 Euros as judicial costs. The Armenian Government has considered this amount as exaggerated.

'They say this amount is exaggerated. Nevertheless, the annual rent for one square meter in the land area adjacent to mine makes up anually 3000 AMD: the ENA rents these land areas for their electricity posts and I have the relevant document,' Alikhanyan said.

Reminder: 'Teghout' CJSC haf proposed 3,439.650 AMD to Alikhanyan to buy his land area of 7.5 ha. Alikhanyan had rejected this proposal trying to find other experts for the real assessment of the land value. Nevertheless, other companies providing such services had rejected him. In 2008, the company filed a claim again Alikhanyan demanding from court to obligate the vilalge to sign the sale contract of his land areas. Nevertheless, Alikhanyan appealed with a response claim that no fair trial had been held.
