A new landfill site will be constructed in Hrazdan for 12 communities in Kotayq and Gegharkounik Regions. On 8 June, at the Cabinet meeting, the executive reached a decision to donate community-owned land area with 24.2784 surface located at 51 Yerevan-Sevan Highway, located next to the southern neighborhood of Hrazdan community, to 'Kotayk and Gegharkounik KK TK' LLC for the construction of the landfill site. It is planned to construct a landfill site in line with the EU criteria, for which the EBRD has provided 11 million Euros, out of which 5.5 million Euros is a grant.
