Hakob Karapetyan, Press Secretary of Yerevan Mayor, sent the clarification of Environmental Department of Yerevan Municipality on the tree felling in Ring Park in Yerevan. The clarification says, “The trees felled down in section 6 in Ring Park had been submitted for feeling by Kentron administrative quarter in prior with their letter №23/16-43990, which had been confirmed by the committee founded under Mayor’s decree in their profession opinion № 17/13601 dated on 1 November 2018 and these trees were felled down in November-December 2018. It should be mentioned that the members of these committee had carried out examinations in the other administrative quarters of the city, organized and confirmed opinions on the felling and pruning of dry trees. On 04.02.2019, “Central Greening” CJSC was cutting dry branches of trees.
