On 16 June, the first baby deer of Caucasian Red Deer was born at "Red Deer Reintroduction Center", as WWF Armenia informs. "It's a boy!!!
Dear friends, this morning our first fawn (baby deer) was born in the "Red Deer Reintroduction Center" of Dilijan NP. Very soon we'll name him together.
Caucasian Red Deer reintroduction program has been initiated by the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia and WWF Armenia in 2013.
Financial supporters of the project are: Federal Republic of Germany through KfW Development Bank, WWF Germany, Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF), Transboundary Joint Secretariat (TJS) and HSBC Bank Armenia," WWF Armenia posted on its Facebook page.
