21 Ha Burnt Down in Tsitsernakaberd, Whereas 4 Ha Grass-Covered Area Burnt Down In Hrazdan Gorge

As a result of the fire that broke out on June 26 in Tsitsernakaberd, about 21 hectares of grass-covered burned, as RA Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.

At the scene, Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan told reporters that the forest-covered area of Tsitsernakaberd is about 100 hectares, out of which 8 hectares belong to the community and the rest to the Genocide Institute Museum.

On June 27, a fire broke out near the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Tsitsernakaberd. The fire was isolated at 20:40, extinguished at 21:10. The roots of the damaged tree had burnt down. On June 27, a fire broke out in Hrazdan gorge in Yerevan, in the grass-covered area near Florence restaurant. A "1-BIS" call for fire complexity has been announced.

The fire was isolated at 19:08, completely extinguished on June 28 at 00:07. About 4 hectares of vegetation, 11 trees and 14 trunks were burnt down.
