ENA Fined in Amount of 20 Million AMD for Violating Deadlines

RA Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) reached a decision to fine "Electrical Networks of Armenia" CJSC in the amount of 20 million AMD at the session held on March 13, as we learn from the official website of the PSCR.

According to the press release, RA Public Services Regulatory Commission conducted an analysis of the process of connection of consumption systems to the distribution network by "Electric Networks of Armenia" CJSC during the 1st-3rd quarters of 2023. "As a result, it was found that the deadlines for connecting the consumption systems to the electric network were violated in a number of cases, which directly led to the violation of the rights or legal interests of a group of applicants (consumers). Therefore, at today's session, the commission fined "Electric Networks of Armenia" CJSC in the amount of 20 million AMD," the press release states.
