By the decision of RA Government № 1910-N dated on November 25, 2021, the rents for the use of forest lands and forests were harmonized with the rents established for the whole territory of the Republic of Armenia. In addition to the change in rent, the new decision sets rents according to forestry branches of "ArmForest" SNCO, and not according to the regions, as it was before.
The highest rent is provided for Hrazdan forestry in Yerevan. The rent for forest use for cultural, health, sports, recreation, and tourism purposes in Yerevan was set at 1170.6 thousand AMD per hectare, and the lowest rent at 137.3 thousand AMD per hectare was set for renting forests in Ashotsk area inGyumri.
