Residents of Jermuk town, Vayots Dzor Region, fighting against t Amulsar gold mining are going to hold a big car march on September 14. Jermuk residents will drive to Yerevan to join the march to Liberty Square.
The announcement was posted on Facebook social network by Jermuk resident Shirak Buniatyan. “Dear compatriots, so the Amulsar Defenders of Jermuk are also making their move. On September 14, residents of the resort town of Jermuk are heading for a big march to join Amulsar's rescue. We call on you to join this peaceful action aimed not at the Republic of Armenia, but for the sake of the sovereign and pure Homeland.
Amulsar will remain a mountain: that’s it,” the statement says.
