This is forest cut down in Teghout… Shnogh Village Administration Head Haykaz Kochinyan and Teghout Village Administration Head Harutyun Meliksetyan say their villagers buy timber at a price of 1200 AMD for one cubic meter, while the timber heaped up in the football field costs 12,000 AMD.

The website of the Armenian Government is lacking decision № 1279-N dated on 1 November 2007 on recognizing 81,483 ha of Shnogh and Teghout Community land areas as public priority. It should be reminded according to this decision the land areas of Shnogh and Teghout Communities were recognized as an exclusively high public priority with the purpose to develop the Teghout copper and molybdenum mine.
