Civic activist Vardges Gaspari carried out a protest demonstration in front of the Armenian Government on 24 January in support of Arthur Grigoryan, ex-Head of RA Environmental and Mining Inspection.
Gaspari considered the dismissal of Arthur Grigoryan as unacceptable mentioning that the Government is getting rid of not their own people.
“The Government shall speak to people in a clear manner. It is merely unacceptable to conceal the dismissal of Arthur Grigoryan with the expression of replacing him with better candidates,” Vardges Gaspari said in his interview with the Azatutyun Radio station.
On 21 January 2019, under Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan’s decision Head of RA Environmental and Mining Inspection Arthur Grigoryan was dismissed from his office. The Government commented it in the following manner that personnel appointments and dismissals in the government are aimed at the involvement of higher-class specialists
“We consider to be the most of the current authorities to be non-experiences, but we tolerate them. What was Arthur Grigoryan’s drawback, which couldn’t be tolerated, postponed so as he needed dismissing immediately? It’s a wrong way to act, this is an incorrect and unclear approach,” the civic activist said.
