Even Under Conditions of Operating Arpa-Sevan Tunnel, Level of Lake Sevan Lower As Compared with Last Year's Level

As of April 6, the lake level is 1 cm lower as compared with the previous year's level, while in contrast to the previous year, the Arpa-Sevanian tunnel has been working since the beginning of the year and has moved 35.814 million cubic meters of water to the lake. According to the official website of RA Ministry of Emergency Situations, as of April 6, the level of Lake Sevan was 1900.46 m, compared to 1900.47 m on the same day of the previous year. As of April 3, the level of the lake was 1900.45 m, as compared to 1900.47 m last year.

It should be noted that at the end of 2019, Lake Sevan had a positive balance of 1900.43 m, which was 4 centimeters higher than the previous year. However, since the beginning of the year, the level of the lake has risen by only 3 cm.
