The level of Lake Sevan as compared with the level on 8 November 2015 is higher by 26 cm and makes up 1900.52 meters, Nature Protection Deputy Minister Khachik Hakobyan told journalists.
The Deputy Minister informed that during 2016 719,000 young fish of endemic species were let out into Lake Sevan and 52 ha of flooded area was cleaned.
Khachik Hakobyan said that in the upcoming 3 years they are planning to develop Sevan, Northern and Hrazdan basin management plans and in 6 months they are planning to approve Akhuryan basin management plan.
In 2017 they are planning to introduce water automatic management system in 20 fish farms in Ararat Valley.
