Hunting areas will be established in Syunik Region, as the document on environmental priority funding in Syunik Region for 2014-2017 says. Under this source, from 2014-2017 it’s planned in the region:
- Obtaining a travelling lab for the chemical analysis of water and air basin pollution,
- Implementing researches and tree planting works in “Zangezour” bioatmospheric complex and “Khoustoup” state reserve
- Implementing “Armenian Open Project (Shikahogh Project)”
- Implementing environmental safety projects
- Environmental fee to project affected communities in Syunik region in line with RA Law “On Target Use of Environmental Fees Paid by Companies”.
The document doesn’t even show clearly whether the funding will be performed in AMD or USD or Euro. It mentions only figures. Requested funding is 4386800.0, out of which 525600.0 will be paid from the state budget, while the funding from international organizations and private investors will make up 3861200.0.
