Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Didn't Detect Storks with Polluted Feathers

On July 2, 2020 RA Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body posted on its Facebook page that it had not found storks with polluted feathers. “The employees of the Armavir Territorial Department contacted the authors of the posts to find out the location of the polluted storks, but no polluted storks were found in the mentioned areas,” the official press release says.

The Armenian branch of e German non-governmental organization Naturschutzbund Deutschland (NABU) has recently installed an online camera in the vicinity of one of the storks nesting in Armash village, Ararat Region, Armenia. The camera will follow the lifestyle of storks, will study the peculiarities of stork nesting, and the food base.
