Violations Recorded at Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine: Administrative Fine Imposed on Director

RA Health and Labor Inspection found violations in Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Mine and Combine operated by Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine CJSC and imposed an administrative fine on Andrei Sinyakov, Director of Combine.

The Inspection instituted administrative proceedings on July 2, 2019. The grounds for the proceedings were 6 accidents occurred in January-May in Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine CJSC where the employees received bodily injuries of different extents.

In response to EcoLur's inquiry into the outcome of the administrative proceedings, Hakob Avagyan, Head of RA Health and Labor Inspection, stated: “From July 8 to July 17, 2019, an inspection was conducted in Agarak mine and ore dressing plant operating in Agarak Community. An order was issued to Director Andrey Sinyakov on 08.08.2019 in order to eliminate the violations identified during the investigation in, Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine CJSC.

Currently, Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine CJSC submits the documents confirming the elimination of the tasks laid down the order within the deadlines set by the order. At the same time, I would like to inform you that the Director of Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine has been imposed an administrative fine as a tortfeasor.”
