The fifth meeting of interdepartmental meeting of coordination council on the performance of the requirements and provisions of the UN Convention on Climate Change “Resolution Adopted at 21st Convention of UN Framework Convention on Climate Change on Paris Convention and Its Enforcement Perspectives” was held on 4 March. It was held in expanded format with the participation of the representatives of different sectors and mayors.

The priority is the limitation and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. In reply to this question Nature Protection Ministry Aramayis Grigoryan said, “First of all, these are production enterprises, but we shouldn’t make such differentiation, as we are striving for the solution to the main problem. We should pursue proportionate reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.”

A Green Fund has been established to combat climate change, which aims to provide financial, technical and technological support in combating climate change. “We have an opportunity to apply to this fund and to develop our country with more modern technologies. As of today, we are already taking measures in this regard.”
