Soon dogs, construction materials and clothes won’t be sold in Vernisazh. Yerevan Municipality initiated reconstruction, modernization, regulation and improvements works in Vernisazh.
“The sale of construction materials, clothes and dogs shall be banned in Vernisazh leaving only goods typical to Vernisazh. Nevertheless, none of the sellers will be unemployed: dog sellers will be directed to Zeytun animal bazaar, construction material sellers will be directed to Gnuni bazaar locating nearby,” said David Ohanyan, Deputy to Yerevan Mayor, at the public hearings on the reconstruction, modernization, regulation and improvement of the “Vernisazh” section of Main Avenue held at Yerevan Municipality.
“We will focus on creating rest and strolling environment for people after working hours. Whole section will be improved and greened. The construction works will be implemented stage by stage, i.e. sellers won’t stop their work,” David Ohanyan said.
