The Khachardzan River flows in Tavush Region. It starts from the north-west part of Areguni mountains and joins the Getik River. Its length is 18 km.
As of 1 January 2014, under the licenses issued by Public Services Regulatory Committee and the main indicators of small hydro power plants operated by hydropower companies, “Khachardzan” SHPP is constructed on this river, which is operated by “Gosh HPP” LLC, derivation length - 2*1740 meters.
The SHPP pipes a total river area of 3480 meters, which makes up 19.333333% of the river.
