Water Equally Belongs To All of Us: Raising Awareness Among Schoolchildren

EcoLur

Transparency International Anticorruption Center (TIAC) is preparing a series of short stories to raise the awareness of the phenomena of corruption. The first video in the series is called "Water Equally Belongs To All of Us." The video is about how teenagers help law enforcement detect bribery and neoptism in the water.

It should be noted that in 2019 EcoLur Informational NGO initiated a public hearing on the violation of the groundwater balance in Ararat Artesian Basin. The Public Environmental Court decided to recognize the overexploitation of Ararat Valley's artesian water resources as an environmental crime.

The verdict was sent to RA Prime Minister and RA Prosecutor General. In response, they stated that a criminal case was initiated on the issues raised in 2013, but no information can be provided.
