There is a tense situation in Yerevan Municipality. Several dozens of protesters, who are boycotting the tree felling and the construction in progress in the part adjacent to Myasnikyan Statue, have intruded into the building of the municipality and are demanding a meeting with Taron Margaryan.

The protesters have gone up to the third floor of the municipality, where Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan's office is located. The entrance to the office was blocked by the policemen. One of the participants of the protest demonstration said he is filing a report on crime.

Deputy Mayor Davit Ohanyan and First Deputy Mayor Kamo Areyan came out to speak to the protesters. Davit Ohanyan proposed to move to Moscow House to discuss the complaint of the citizens. He promised to invite Mayor Taron Margaryan. The protesters didn't agree and continued demanding Taron Margaryan to come out of the office and have a meeting with them near his office.
