Fires Broken Out in Sevan National Park Extinguished

On 29 August two cases of fire break out were recorded in the area of Sevan National Park. In the ranges of 16:00, a fire broke out for unknown reasons in Pambak Section of Arevik Branch of Sevan National Park, which resulted in burning down 5 ha of dry grass-covered area. In the ranges of 20:00, a fire broke out for unknown reasons in Drakhtik Section of Artanish Branch of Sevan National Park, which resulted in burning down 500 m2 of dry grass-covered area. All the fires have been extinguished due to the taken measures, as the Information and Public Relations Department of RA Nature Protection Ministry informs.
