The state has incurred damage of 1.5 billion AMD as a result of the large-scale illegal tree felling having continuously occurred in 8 branches of 'ArmForest' SNCO, as the Chief Prosecutor's Office in Armenia informs.
Four criminal cases have been initiated based on these facts and 13 people have been involved as accused. The following extents of damage have been caused to the state:
9,771,750 AMD in Syunik Forestry Enterprise, out of which the damage of 4,589,000 AMD has been recovered, 12,490,500 AMD in Noyemberyan Forestry Enterprise, 99,845,583 AMD in Yeghegnut Forestry Enterprise, 97,174,500 AMD in Stepanavan, 428,667,000 AMD in Artsvaberd, 637,959,000 AMD in Dsegh, 128.238,000 AMD in Ijevan and 11,378.250 AMD in Sevqar.
