In 2016 no budget funds will be available for the young fish to let out into Lake Sevan.
Reminder: each year government spends 60 million AMD to let out 366,000 young fish into Lake Sevan to recover the fish reserves in the lake. In 2016 the recovery of the fish reserves in the lake shall be implemented in the frames of “Complex Program on Trout Reserve Recovery and Fish Development in Lake Sevan” program, as “Annual Program on recovery, conservation, recovery, natural development and measures of Lake Sevan Ecosystems for 2016” says approved by the executive on 1 October.
