12.652 Million Cum Water Let Out of Lake Sevan in May

Starting from the first ten days in May water intake has been carried out from Lake Sevan. According to the data of Hydromet Service, an aggregate amount of 12.652 million cum water has been let out of Lake Sevan via Atarbekyan HPP canal. As of 31 May, a non-regulated leak from Lake Sevan made up an aggregate of 0.701 million cum. An aggregate amount of 60.969 million cum water has flown into Lake Sevan via Arpa-Sevan aqueduct, while groundwater inflow made up 11.802 million cum. As of 31 May, the level of Lake Sevan made up 1900.88 meters, which is higher by 21 cm than the indicator for the last year.

Reminder: in line with the resolution of the Armenian Government, 170 million cum water will be let out of Lake Sevan in 2017.
