Today, as of 30 March 2016, the level of Lake Sevan made up 1900.33 m, which is higher by 16 cm than the level of the lake one year ago, 30 March 2015, as the Ministry for Emergency States informs on its website, www.mes.am.
We are only happy that the over-surface and underground water flows into the lake promoted the recovery of lake Sevan this year. We expect that the forecasts of the National Service for Monitoring and Hydrometereology well become true and by 31 December the level of the lake will be increased by 30 cm, if the water won't be taken for irrigation and other needs more than it's set.
