EcoLur has recieved an alarm signal from 'Azhdahak' EcoClub at middle school in Gegharkounik community that Lake Sevan may be dumped with the garbage of Gavar landfill site.
'Due to wind the whole content of Gavar regional landfill site has found itself in the are next to Lake Sevan. A large section of Gavar-Sevan highway has become a victim of garbage, as the animals eat plastic bottles and bags considering it food. EcoClub members have concerns that most garbage will find itself in Lake Sevan.'
'Azhdahak' EcoClub is calling for not allowing Armenia to turn into a landfill site, joining and organizing cleaning works.
