Breaking!!! Again famous Magel cave in Noravanq Gorge, Vayots Dzor Region, is on the verge of destruction, as the cave is granted on lease for tourism development purposes. The cave hosts the colony of red-listed bats. The environmentalists and ecologists are beating a S.O.S alarm, who have been trying to save the cave from illiterate actions of official bodies and tourism for recent years.
EcoLur will host guests, who will cover the problem - Mamikon Ghasabyan, Head of Laboratory of Zoology of Vertebrate, Institute of Zoology, a specialist in wing-handed animals, Professor Eduard Yavruyan and Sevak Baloyan, Head of Zooresource Management Department of Biological Resource Agency Management of Nature Protection Ministry.
