On the initiative of Nature Protection Ministry an extraordinary consultation tool place at “Khosrov Forest” State Reserve together with the National Assembly Standing Committee on Nature Protection and Agriculture on 27 March. The participants were as follows: the members of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Nature Protection and Agriculture headed by its Chairman Martun Grigoryan, Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan, Ararat Regional Head Edik Barseghyan and the heads of neighboring community heads. The first item on the agenda was presented by “Khosrov Forest” State Reserve Board Director Khachik Hakobyan, he focused on the problems recorded in the reserve, such as violations of reserve regime by the community people, the pasture of animals in the territory of the reserve, tree felling and extinguishing fires. Under Khachik Hakobyan, the problem with border demarcation is a serious problem in some communities, as their territories are in the reserve, which should be solved with the regional cadastre.
