On May 30, at 16:00, Kapan Ore Processing Combine resumed its operation, which was temporarily suspended on 25 May. “Kapan Ore Processing Combine” CJSC made an announcement in this regard, which says, ““Kapan Ore Processing Combine” CJSC informs that the negotiations run with the representatives of the working collective gave results and the company resumed the operation on at 16:00 on 30.05.2018, which was temporarily suspended on 25.05.2018. As a result of the negotiation, the company expressed its willingness to raise the salaries of all employees by 10% starting from 1 July. Besides that, the works launched on 31.05.2018 will continue and in line with the collective agreement signed by the Company and employees on 27.12.2016, works will be performed aimed at forming a new board of working collective.
The company has also undertaken a commitment not to make liable the employees having announced a hunger strike on 28.05.2018 in Shahumyan Mine for the violation of the Company Internal Rules and Technical Safety Rules, as well as not to dismiss the employees not having worked from 25.05.2018 to 30.05.2018 as a disciplinary procedure.”
