No essential damage has been caused to Gosh Lake: the lake has powerful resources of self-recovery and it is able to recover soon, as CNF National Coordinator Arman Vermishyan said at the meeting held at RA Nature Protection Ministry with Acting Nature Protection Minister Artsvik Minasyan and the citizens concerned with environmental problems. Arman Vermishyan referred to a number of measures aimed at the preservation of Gosh ecosystem, including the need for regular monitoring of the lake. RA Acting Nature Protection Minister Artsvik Minasyan expressed his concerns that climatic conditions won't enable cleaning the lake surroundings quickly and in line with the schedule published in advance. All the works aimed at cleaning littoral areas from the silt and improving them will be carried out at Dilijan National Park at the financial expenses of 'Vendor Company', as Information and Public Relations Department of RA Nature Protection Ministry informs.

Reminder: 'Vendor' Company, which has leased the area of Gosh Lake, had heavy machinery driven into the lake area thus violating the local landscape and ecosystem, afterwards public attention to Gosh Lake increased.
