On December 20, 2018, Tumanyan Forestry Department 5 discovered illegal logging 15 trees, and on January 11, 2019, Stepanavan Forestry Department found 116 illegal forest logging and 116 stumps, in connection with which forest violation protocols have been drawn up.

As a result of the thorough investigation of the criminal case, sufficient evidence was obtained that particularly large-scale logging was carried out by residents of the Lori region born in 1986, 1988, 1987 and 1984.

In particular, it was found out that the above mentioned residents of Lori Region illegally cut a total of 131 trees from the different forest areas of “ArmForest” SNCO in November-December 2018, by using a gas-operated saw, preparing and selling firewood, thus causing a particularly large loss of 4.920,000 AMD.

As a result of operative investigations undertaken on September 7, 2019 in Lori Region, the resident born in 1984, was found and appeared to the body conducting the proceedings.
