It's Known Which Mining and Energetic Companies Will Have Inspections in 2018

Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body of RA Nature Protection Ministry is planning to carry out 250 inspections in 2018. The Inspection Body has included large mining companies developing metallic mines, energetic and hydroenergetic structures into its list for 2018.

Inspections will be carried out at 'Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine' CJSC, a part of Russian 'GeoProMining Gold', which develops Agarak copper and molybdenum open mine. Inspections will also be carried out at 'Kapan Ore Processing Combine' CJSC, a part of 'Polymetal' Group, which develops Shahumyan polymetallic mine. An inspection will be carried out in 'Zangezour Copper and Molybdenum Combine' CJSC developing the largest mine in Armenia. The list also includes 'Akhtala Ore Processing Combine' CJSC developing Shamlugh Mine and 'Teghout' CJSC developing Teghout copper and molybdenum mine, as well as it's planned to inspect 'Armenian Molybdenum Production' and 'Armenian Titanium Production', 'Armenian Copper Program' operating Alaverdi copper smelting plant.

Hydroenergy sector includes 10 companies operating SHPPs included in the list of inspections. Over the recent 7 years 'Armenian Nuclear Power Plant' CJSC will be subject to inspection for the first time. The list also includes 'Hrazdan Energetic Company' and 'Yerevan Thermal Power Plant'.
