On 22 January Dundee Precious Metals Kapan invited Geghanush villagers to discuss the problems with Geghanush tailing dump, as the press release says disseminated by Kapan-based “Center for Regional Monitoring” NGO. The organization helped the villagers to draw up an application to the company on the compensation of damages caused to health and environment. Out of 249 officially registered community voters, 150 people had signed under this application.
