The Ministry for Emergency States received an alarm signal at 19:14 on 10 April that the wall of the granary (2 sq.m.) located on the first floor of a two-storey house at Street 5 in Gndevaz Community had collapsed because of the explosions regularly carried out in the gold mine. The official website of the MES website says, 'because of the explosions regularly carried out in the gold mine .' EcoLur contacted with the resident of this house, Karen Sahakyan. 'It was a side wall and at that moment it was in an emergency state. It think there was humidity, while the explosions in the HLF of Amulsar mine helped to make the wall weaker. The wall collapsed on the day of the explosion - at around 19:15-20. We heard thunder and ran to the scene and saw the wall collapse. We called 911 they have taken photos and drawn up a protocol. We have also applied to the company (note by EcoLur 'Lydian Armenia'), they should come today in the afternoon and have a look,' Karen Sahakyan said. In reply to the question what kind of damage the household incurred because of the collapse and whether they are going to demand compensation from 'Lydian Armenia', Gndevaz resident said, 'Sure, we are going to demand. We have estimated that two tons of cement will be needed so as to reconstruct the wall. I can't do it financially with our own forces.' Karen Sahakyan expressed his concerns, it's rather hazardous to stay at home for his family members.
