Nikol Pashinyan: 10 Million Trees To Be Planted in Armenia on 10 October 2020 To Symbolize 10 Million Armenian Integrity

By October 10, 2020, 10 million trees will be planted in Armenia symbolizing the unity of 10 million Armenians. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced about this at the opening ceremony of the Global Innovation Forum 2019 on October 16.

“I want to make a statement that relates to the most original and traditional way of thinking. Before making that statement, I would like to invite the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia EriK Grigoryan and FAST Founding Director Armen Orujyan to the stage.

The statement is as follows: our government has developed a very ambitious plan, which should reach its peak by October 10, 2020. On that day we plan to plant 10 million trees in the Republic of Armenia, on the 10th day of the 10th month, which will symbolize the unity of 10 million Armenians around the Armenian statehood and the Republic of Armenia and in the Republic of Armenia," Pashinyan stated.
