Nature Protection Ministry Clarifying Statement Disseminated by RA Prosecutor's Office

Four criminal cases were initiated on 28 July 2017 based on Article 296 (3), Article 308 (2), Article 311 (2) and Article 312 (1) for large-volume illegal tree felling, abuse of official authorities, systematically taking bribes and giving bribes in different branches of 'ArmForest' SNCO.

The officials involved in these criminal cases as the accused have allegedly committed these crimes during their office holding.

State Environmental Inspection of RA Nature Protection Ministry was dissolved based on the governmental decision N 445-N dated on 27 April 2017. Consequently, the current employees of newly-founded Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body of RA Nature Protection Ministry don't have any relation with the mentioned criminal cases and crimes,' RA Nature Protection Ministry has clarified the statement disseminated by RA Prosecutor's Office.
