The Nature Protection Ministry informs that from 10.05.2017–12.05.2017 the State Environmental Inspection detected violations during inspections it carried out, which resulted in drawing up 12 decisions on administrative fines in the amount of 870,000 AMD, while the total damage caused to environment was estimated in the amount of 57.44 million AMD. The sanctions imposed by the State Environmental Inspection results in 0.5 million AMD paid to the state budget.
Flora Preservation – estimated damage of 57.17 million AMD to environment, out of which: Tavush Territorial division has carried out professional examination on the spot based on 6 protocols of illegal tree felling drawn up by 'Dilijan FP' SNCO and the estimted damage for 39 trees accounted to 4.53 million AMD. The protocols were later sent to Tavush Regional Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings. Based on two protocols submitted by 'Dilijan FP' SNCO on 312 felled down trees the damage caused to environment was estimated in the amount of 52.26 million AMD. The protocols were later sent to Tavush Regional Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings.
Lori Territorial Division estimated damage caused to environment in the amount of 78,000 AMD over one natural entity for two illegally cut down trees. An administrative proceeding has been initiated.
