As RA Nature Protectio Ministry informs, as of 16:30, 11 August, around 450-500 ha of grass-covered and forest-covered territories (80 ha) have been burnt down in Vayots Dzor Region, near Artavan Community. As of 14:00, the area of the vegetation cover and forests on fire in Vayots Dzor Region have accounted for around 250 ha. The situation management of fire extinguishing works in the region is performed by MES Minister D. Tonoyan. RA Nature Protection Minister A. Minasyan has also arrived there.
