RA Nature Protection Ministry and “Associaton for RA Renewable Energy Producers” Union of Legal Entities have signed a memorandum of cooperation. According to Nature Protection Minister, the aim of the cooperation is complete ensuring of environmental criteria in the sector of renewable energy prioritizing the fundamental principles of green economy. In the frames of the agreement the parties shall cooperate in their field to ensure development for fund attraction, rational use of water resources and exercise of supervision, including development of legislative and normative documents aimed at the regulation of developing renewable energy sector and regulation of environmental problems, introduction of self-monitoring system at SHPPs, carrying out research and joint programs aimed at the preservation of river biodiversity, implementation of joint programs related with environmental flow and fish passway preservation, which is mandatory for SHPPs, development of legal field, compliance with international standards and other issues.
