The international tender for the construction of 'Masrik 1' solar photovoltaic station, the first one with industrial scales, was announced today. The anticipated capacity of the station is 55 MW, while investment needed is around US $ 50 million, as Deputy Minister for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Hayk Harutyunyan told the journalists.
Taking into consideration exceptionally good resources of the sun and those conditions, which we have established for the investors and, in our opinion, the expected tariff will be a record worldwide,' Deputy Minister Hayk Harutyunyan mentioned. According to 'Investment Program of Solar Photovoltaic Station Construction', an average tariff has been estimated for all 25 years of 'Masrik 1' solar photovoltaic station, $ 6.39 for one kph (or $ 7.67 for one kph, VAT included).
