Borderline Nerqin Karmiraghbyur Community Residents To Pay Less For Electricity (Photos)

From now on the residents of Nerqin Karmiraghbyur community in Tavush Region will pay less for electricity. On 10 December 2016 ‘Lusavor Sahman’ charitable initiative provided 5 energy efficient lamps to each family in Karmiraghbur community.

“We have planned to install energy efficient lamps also in 33 borderline communities in Armenia, then in Artsakh. The first community was Nerqin Karmiraghbyur. The residents were very enthusiastic about this initiative highly valuing attention and support given to them,” President of “Association for Young Engineers” NGO Hovhannes Karapetyan told EcoLur. LED lamps can save up to 90% electricity as compared with ordinary lamps. Their usage duration is up to 10 years. “Lusavor Sahman” initiative plans to provide 16500 families with energy efficient lamps.
