Decision on Increase in Electricity Price Adopted

On 1 July the Public Services Regulatory State Committee adopted a decision about the increase in electricity price. The price for electricity has been set as follows:

1) for consumers supplied 35 kW and higher:  
a) daytime tariff  -  32.85 AMD/kWh, including VAT,
b) night tariff - 28.85 AMD/kWh, including VAT,
2) for consumers supplied 6 (10) kW: 
a) daytime tariff  -  38.85 AMD/kWh, including VAT,
b) night tariff - 28.85 AMD/kWh, including VAT,
3) for consumers supplied 0.38 kW (including population) 
a) daytime tariff  -  41.85 AMD/kWh, including VAT,
b) night tariff – 31.85 AMD/kWh, including VAT,

The set tariffs will be entered into force from 1 August 2014.

“Five buttons in the favour of the increase in electricity price,” said Aram Manukyan to the journalists after the meeting of the Public Services Regulatory State Committee.
