“Against Increase in Electricity Price” civic initiative is continuing is fight against non-substantiated increase in electricity price and calls for all Armenian citizens to take part in the protest demonstration to be held on 1 July, at 10:30, near the building of the Public Services Regulatory State Committee. On this very day the PSRSC will have a session, where the decision to increase electricity price will be held.
Before 1 July, the initiative will get gathered in Mashtots Park on 29 June, at 18:00, and will have an awareness march by disseminating information sheet. On 30 June a protest demonstration will start from Opera square. The demonstrators will call the citizens to join their fight.
Under economists, the increase in electricity price will affect all the branches of economy and will lead to the deterioration of poverty in Armenia.
