Jermuk is beating an alarm signal: trees are being felled down in the downtown. According to the worried citizens, an area is cleaned up for constructing garages.
Reminder: as a result of tree felling in the central park of Jermuk, an area was cleaned, where a huge balneological complex has been constructed directly in the middle of the lake. Old people assure that the trees in Jermuk had been planted artificially with great efforts because of high sea level, while balneologists assure that the resort will lose not only its attractiveness without trees, but also a part of curing properties because of lack of oxygen. So they cut off whatever feeds them.
