About 2,941.00 m2 of crops, 12,328 fruit trees and bushes, 153.00 timber trees and 2,074.00 decorative trees and bushes will be impacted during the construction of Babajanyan-Tichina road section. 146 residential buildings (3,920.25 m2) and 165 non-residential buildings and structures (5,235.45 m2) will be demolished, as “Land Alienation and Resettlement Programme for Babajanyan-Tichina Road Section: Tranche 2 of Sustainable Urban Development Investment Programme” document says.
At its meeting on 2 March the Armenian Government approved this program: the Armenian Government has been granted a loan of US $112,970,000 from the Asian Development Bank to fund “Tranche 2 of Sustainable Urban Development Investment Programme”. The programme launched on 4 March 2016 and will be accomplished on 30 March 2020 under the loaning agreement.
