Under the initial data, 2733 ha of area has suffered from the fire in Khosrov Forest Reserve, out of which 201 ha is juniper forest, 1624 ha is grass-covered area, the rest is broad-leaved forest, as WWF Armenia Director Karen Manvelyan told EcoLur. Juniper trees in Khosrov occupy a total of 800 ha area. Mainly broad-leaved oak trees have been exposed to fire, "We hope these broad-leaved forests will recover," Karen Manvelyan said.
