Territorial Administration and Development First Deputy Minister Vache Terteryan's Response to EcoLur's Letter on Amulsar and Jermuk EcoLur Territorial Administration and Development First Deputy Minister Vache Terteryan has responded to the EcoLur’s letter addressed to the Armenian Government on Amulsar gold mining and development Jermuk as a tourism center. The reply letter particularly says, “…Implementing Amulsar project in Vayots Dzor Region in line with the principles of sustainable development in Armenia (particularly, environmental, geological requirements and conditions) and taking into consideration the social impact and risks in line with international standards, can’t pose any danger and won’t be an obstacle for the development of economy in the country, as well as the further implementation of tourism development programs in Jermuk town. Jermuk town will continue being a resort town with ecologically clean environment, tourists and visitors, who are attracted by the mineral water of the town, its clean air, high-level service and high-quality services….”
